waiting on a wee little one...
it's true, my older sister claire & her hubs are baking a baby! i am so stoked to be an aunt. this baby foster is going to have the best time ever with me. i am not ready to be a parent myself but look forward to practicing with my sisters child. growing up with seven children (4 girls/3 boys) we were all so close in age and our aunts & uncles were a lot older than us. i am looking forward to spoiling, being hip, and of course the aunt that the child can go to for advice and on occasion....to purchase beer.
i am going to be over the moon once the little nugget arrives. i hope my sister knows she can count on me even when i say i wan to corrupt her young foster. i promise to do my best to teach him/her everything i know. i cannot wait to find out if it will be a boy or girl, i will keep you posted. now i have to get started purchasing 'cool' aunt t-shirts and matching tutu's that i can hopefully wear if its a baby girl!
this is the future of me & my little niece. spa days & gossip magazines. precious. i can't wait to share these wonderful amazing moments with you.
