Weekend Shenanigans

Sami's Shenanigans

Well, my weekend kicked off with yours truly being awarded teacher of the week! I got to wear the sash pictured above and all this week I have front row parking! Wa-hoo! When I arrived home on Friday I found my beautiful morning glory has grown quite a bit, I am so impressed as it's the only thing I've ever grown, ever. I spent my Friday the 13th at Target buying stuff I don't need only wanted, and I must admit that I was in bed with my eyes shut at 8:45 that night. I didn't get to watch the movie I had planned on or the Ghost Adventures show. Thank God for DVR!
On Saturday morning I met my best friend Linzie at the country club. We laid out and got some good sun/vitamin D until the Aggie game started at 2:30. We hung out, watched the game, ate, and then it was over. Second night in a row I was in bed before 9! I think my body was just exhausted, and that is fine with me, I obviously needed it.
Sunday we were lazy. I had to pick up some vitamins and that was the only outing of the day. It was glorious! We thought it was going to rain, no such luck. Sunday evenings are the best, RHONJ and Boardwalk Empire! Sadly, I fell asleep during Boardwalk but will catch up on it later today before BSF. I hope you had a great weekend as well.

Hey, It's Ok!

Its Ok Thursdays

It's been a long time since I did a It's Ok post, so here you go!

It's Okay...

to be frustrated with my lack of progress in the gym (grrr)
to be so freaking ready for the end of school
that I had an actual coke yesterday...and Monday
to give yourself a break
to wish I could spend every single day with my nieces
to be a bit behind on my BSF homework
that next weekend is Blake's sisters wedding
to ask for prayers
to hear of a co-workers blessing and be envious
to be greedy about your weekends

It's Ok Thursday

Its Ok Thursdays

It's ok...
...that sometimes I feel like I am the only person in the universe who isn't pregnant.
... that I am kicking ass at the gym this week.
...that I can't remember where my BSF lesson is for this week.
... to have already planned out my weekend. I plan to do nothing.
... to know that there are 31 days until spring break.
... to be team Brandi, not Leann.
... to contemplate deleting your Facebook account.
... that I don't watch Glee anymore, the stories are terrible compared to how they once were.
...to not give a hoot about zombies ( I don't understand this craze!)
... to admit that I haven't been to a mall in over a year.

This is how I feel knowing tomorrow is Friday:

It's Ok, Thursdays! 11/8/2012

Its Ok Thursdays

Now that the election is over I can breathe a sigh of relief. No more political facebook status's, no more commercials bashing opposing candidates, and no more debates! Television can get back to it's regularly scheduled programs and I can relax. This week has gone by rather quickly and I am not complaining. However, I realized that Thanksgiving is merely two weeks away which means the husbands birthday is also two weeks away. Eek!

It's Ok...

To secretly want to put up Christmas decorations.
To be happy about holiday cups at Starbucks.
To only want a miracle for Christmas (a healthy pregnancy).
To be excited that young adult author R.L. Stein is now writing books for adults. (yay!)
To still watch Gossip Girl and 90210.
To fall in love with my husband more and more everyday.
To do a few days worth of BSF lessons in one day, I am loving the Genesis lessons!
To LOVE Wednesday night t.v.

It's Ok Thursday: 9/27/2012

Its Ok Thursdays
link up here

It's Ok

... to wish it were Friday (longest week ever)
... to actually be excited about a doctors appointment
... that I woke up to eat ice cream at three this morning
... that I did all my BSF lessons yesterday
... to wish it were summer break already
... that I have a ridiculous amount of laundry to do
... to already be thinking about what I want Santa to bring me
... even though Halloween is my favorite holiday I still don't have a costume picked out

What's OK with you today?
