1) Today is great because we have a staff bowling party after school, we are The Pin-Ups!

2) Tomorrow I will drive to Pflugerville to visit my awesome sister & my precious niece Riley.

3) My favorite time of day is the morning  because it's another reminder that God is good!

4) Sometimes you just have to cry it out.

5)  A song that I cannot get enough of lately is Give Your Heart a Break by Demi Lovato.

6) My favorite accessory is/are my bracelets, they hide my scars, but not all of them, it's just another reminder that God has a purpose for me, thats what they all remind me of.

7) My favorite thing about my week was talking to my parents. It's comforting to know that my Dad is doing better and that he is still here.

(1) My greatest strength is: my compassion and love for mankind.

(2) My greatest weakness is: my sometimes selfish tendencies.

(3) People always compliment me on: my bracelets. I never take them off and continuously add to them. I feel naked without them, it reveals my vulnerability.

(4) If you found me procrastinating you could probably find me: looking at celebrity gossip. www.dlisted.com & www.icydk.com are my favorites!

(5) The most cozy place in all the world is: my bed! I like to cocoon myself in miles of blankets... imagine The Princess & the Pea.

(6) Something new that I tried recently was: NOT getting into bed once I got home from work. I've kept myself busy and it feels great!

(7) This weekend I would like to: shop for the house & for myself... Spring cleaning & spring wardrobe, hooray!

I just returned from BOA, it's an outdoor school adventure with our sixth graders. We left Sunday and returned late last night. I'm a bit tired but happy to have had another year of BOA experience and be home with the husband and frups.

color blocking

jumping on the latest trend: color blocking. i love it. however, miss. emma stone failed this time at the premiere of friends with benefits.

example a. 

i adore her but this outfit is a fail. as a frugal fashionista i try this trend with various vintage pieces i have and a few new cheap ones i can find at forever21, i find inspiration in other people's choices and then make them unique with a fun hair band, new bracelet, or a pair of colorful toms.

1.    People always tell me I look like my grandmother (Dicey). I enjoy looking at photos of her when she was young because I can see the resemblance. I would be completely happy if I was even as lovely as a LADY as she was.

2.    Friends don't let friends  feel alone in this world.

3.    A sunny day is perfect for walks and talks.

4.    My favorite accessory is my ridiculous bracelet/bangle collection. I refuse to take any of them off. They cover some of my scars & without them I feel naked.

5.    If I could afford it I would hire someone to organize all of my stuff, ie: closet/bedroom/living room/life.

6.    The cure for boredom is blogging and unfortunately the internet.

7.    I am currently 'in like' with rose gold & being out of school for the summer.
