What I'm Loving Wednesday

 

Here are a few things I am loving this Wednesday. I am basically feel Halloween, and I love it!

Thanks to my mother-in-law I've been going to weekly acupuncture appointments! I can not express how much I enjoy them.

Thursday Things: 11/1/2012



   Every week I have to have blood drawn in order to monitor my HCG levels. This morning while waiting for my name to be called I observed an older couple. The husband was sitting next to me and soon his wife came out from behind one of the doors, he quickly got up, asked her if she was alright, and then very quickly, instinctively, put his hand in hers as they proceeded to walk out the door. It made me smile. Then I began to think about the small habits my husband shows me on a regular basis.

-I love when Blake opens car doors for me.

-I love when Blake gives me a kiss every night before bed.

-I love when Blake goes the extra mile and puts my food on a tray.

-I love that my husband takes better care of me than himself.

-I love that Blake isn't a fan of Halloween but let me paint his face to make me happy.

-I love when Blake holds MY hand.

-I love when Blake talks in a goofy voice to the frups.

-I love Blake.

   Blake is such a caring person and I might not tell him all the time and I should. When I was pregnant he constantly asked what I was craving, if I was alright, and wanted to experience all that pregnancy had to offer with me. It's easy to forget to tell those closest to you how important they in fact are in your life. I know that Blake is reading this (he's probably the first person to do so) and I want to tell him that he means the world to me and I love him.



Oh, How Pinteresting! 10/31/2012

   It's my most favorite day of the year, Halloween!Unfortunately I cannot dress up at school like the good ole' days but I did wear a trick or treat button in spirit. I used PicMonkey to create my day of the dead sugar skull photo above. I've been trying to convince Blake that we should paint our faces like this for tonight. I think he has finally agreed to let me do it, we'll see how that goes tonight. Below are my favorite pins of this week.

THINKING ABOUT: My younger sister Caroline. Her wedding is next Sunday in Mexico. Unfortunately we will not be there becuase I was pregnant. I can't believe my family is growing up!

LOVING: Red Ribbon Week at school. I'm currently teaching in pink fluffy p.j's.
LOOKING FORWARD TO: My two year anniversary. Blake reminded me that it's in fact next Tuesday and that Halloween is Wednesday. Oh, this is my most favorite time of year.

WONDERING: When will be be 'cleared' to start trying for a family again. God is teaching me patience.
EATING: Loads and loads of pasta and foods that have practically know folic acid. It's junk food city over here in Texas at my house.

DISLIKING: Giving blood every other day... I have weak veins that collapse and it's excruciating to give even a drop!
HAPPY ABOUT: The kindness of strangers. I have felt an overwhelming since of love from my followers who are virtually strangers. If I am talking about YOU please know I have found comfort in your words, stories, and prayers. From the bottom of my heart I thank you.

I'm loving witches this week! I'm still as an adult fascinated with the Salem Witch Hunts. I've always been a person who enjoys scary movies and that hasn't changed with maturity. I am still a fan of Disney classics, the majority of which have a wicked witch of some sort. This time of year is like Christmas for me! Maybe I will dress up as a witch this year... afterall it is the most classic Halloween costume there is, right?
