fill in the blank friday: 10/14/2011

link up with lauren here

(1) the most selfless thing i have ever done is give up something i wanted to someone who needed it and was a complete stranger.
(2) when it comes to working out i am pathetic. i just don't do it anymore. i know i need to.
(3) a woman should always feel loved.
(4) i wish i could talk to animals and then i'd become the 'animal whisperer'.
(5) a best friend is someone who listens to all the good the bad and the crazy things you have to say. a best friend is also someone with whom you can go months and years without speaking to and then pick up right where you left off.
(6) i can't get enough of all the halloween decor and flavors. i love this holiday!
(7) this weekend my blake & i are going to the local pumpkin patch to pick out some pumpkins and then hopefully go to market days (if they have it this weekend, last weekend was a car show)

today is our first pep rally at school for our fundraiser! so it should be a very festive day and i cannot wait to spend the weekend with my hubby and visit with my sister & niece while they are here.

country wedding & boerne market days: 5/15/2011

what a weekend. country superstars miranda lambert & blake shelton got married here in boerne this past weekend. stars like reba McIntyre, katherine heigel, cee-loo green, kelly clarkson, and many more flooded our little town. i think it's really neat that they even had their guests attend market days. the two were married at the same place, don strange, that catered our october wedding.

blake & i went to market days, one of our favorite things to do every month. we checked out local grown herbs, pottery, antiques, and of course sampled a bit of food. for the first time they had a smoothie station, it was delicious.
blake had to try it

 my turn...

blake & his a&m baby

i love boerne market days & i love spending my saturdays with my husband coming up with new ideas and putting money back into our community by purchasing locally grown plants, vegetables, and other items. our town is very close and cozy.

hope your weekend was just as wonderful...

on another note, i only have 10 days left until summer vacation, my students are ready & so am i!
