Superbowl Weekend Recap

Oops, it was actually SATURDAY night!

   Saturday night was spent watching and playing with little Miss. Anna. She is so full of joy and currently loves to dance to the tune of a song that goes "Yea, yea, yea, yea, yeah!" repeat x3. It's fabulous and you can't help but feel giddy watching and cheering her on. I was surprised at how well she goes to bed, it was just too easy. Blake put together the wooden baby stroller pictured above and Anna thought "Screw the doll, I want a ride!", I tried explaining it was meant for the doll which she quickly dismissed and decided it was on to bigger and better toys. Blake then spent the rest of the weekend explaining to anyone that would listen what a good Uncle he was and that Anna had finally warmed up to him. Adorable. We love Anna!
   On Sunday out of nowhere we decided to redecorate the house. It was a lot of work and on Thursday one project became my saw it, pinned it, did it of the week. After decorating I prepped my meals for the beginning of the week, Blake was impressed and proud of me which in turn made me feel good. I napped through the first half of the Beyonce concert Superbowl but woke up in time for Beyonce. It was a really nice weekend, but like all of them it went by to fast.

   Lately I have felt like I want to redecorate the house and de-clutter! Blake will faint when he reads this, but it's true. I am ready to make each room it's own unique treasure. I hope to get started with the de-cluttering and cleaning out of things next weekend. I will most likely spend this week going through my closet room and bedroom bagging items up. My goal is to make myself busy with other projects that I don't have the time to focus on other distractions. God is so good, all the time!

1. My favorite room in the house is the living room  because many are made there with friends and family as it is the heart of our home.

2. My current decor style is vintage junk chic, ha ha that's what my husband might say but I prefer shabby chic.

3. I wish I could redecorate my master bedroom!

4. My dream house absolutely has to have a master bath connected to the master.

5. One house item I am willing to splurge on is furniture, i.e. comfy cozy chairs, couches, mattresses.

6. A house trend I just don't get is modern style, I am not a fan of the put together clean lined empty look.

7. Photos and collections are a little touch that makes my house feel like a home.

Happy Friday, ya'll! Once the clocks strikes 3p.m. I will officially be spring breakin' it! Wa-hoo!
